Women Will Vote in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah said that “women in the conservative Islamic kingdom will have the right to join the advisory Shura Council as full members and participate in future municipal elections,” Reuters reports.
However, women are still barred from traveling, working, or having medical operations without the permission of a male relative, and cannot drive.
Thank goodness we have such unconditional loyalty to this country. We share so many characteristics, and by that I mean oil. </sarcasm>
