Bachmann’s Grasp Of Reality At New Low

“I think you earned every dollar, you should get to keep every dollar that you earn. That’s your money, that’s not the government’s money. That’s the whole point.”

— Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), at last night’s GOP debate, apparently calling for no taxes at all.

This is seriously an adult? A fifth-grader with a day of civics class would crush this woman’s simple view of taxes.

As a congresswomen, she then would work for free, since the government should have no tax revenue.

I can’t believe this is what passes for a Republican politician.
